Much is said about how many people the Ludington Offshore Classic brings to town, but that wasn’t the talk on a sunny Sunday afternoon in June of 2012. It was all about Ludington last year. In the 11th year of the event, Doug “Pole Cat” Strzynski and crew became only the second Ludington-based pro boat to win the Offshore Classic. Ludington-based Flys Down took the amateur division and Ludington-based Katch Me took the big-fish division.
